The California interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section, the governing body that oversees high school athletics, recently released the winners of the team academic championships. For teams to be considered they must have at least five student athletes with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA average on a 4.0 scale (unweighted) for the first semester of the 2024 to 2025 school year and be a CIF member school with populations above 1,500 students. We are excited to announce that 24 of the varsity programs here on the Villa Park campus achieved above a 3.0 GPA threshold.
