Advanced Placement
Villa Park High School is proud to offer 29 Advanced Placement courses. As an Equal Opportunity AP School, we encourage all students capable of taking more rigorous coursework to participate in our program. This year 1,478 seats are filled in our AP courses.
Taking an AP course is the best way to show your future college and university that you have what it takes to be a successful undergraduate student. It's also a sign that you’re up for the most rigorous classes your high school has to offer. When admissions officers see “AP” on your transcript, they know that what you experienced in a particular class has prepared you well for the challenges of college.
Access to AP exam test scores begins in July California students. Click here for more information. Most colleges and universities offer college credit, advanced placement, or both, for qualifying AP Exam scores. Click here to search credit policies by school.
