Registration Instructions for Selecting Courses

For Students Living in the VPHS Attendance Area

(If VPHS is NOT your home school, you will NOT be able to select classes online)

1.       Go to OUSD website (www.orangeusd.org) and select Student Portal

IF you are a current 8th – 11th grade student: Log on

a.       Enter your permanent 6-digit ID number in the first box.

b.       Enter your birth date (without 0’s or /) as the password in the second box.

(Example: June 1, 2001 would be 612001)

c.        Click Sign In.

 

             IF YOU ARE AN “INCOMING 9TH GRADE STUDENT” (currently in the 8th grade)

a.       Enter your permanent 6-digit ID number in the first box (email)

b.       Enter your permanent 6-digit ID number in the second box (password)

c.        Click Sign In.

d.       Hover the mouse over Change Student and select (pre-enrolled) Grd 9 – Villa Park HS

 

Next step for EVERYONE:

2.       Hover the mouse over the Student Info tab and click on the Course Requests Entry link in the drop-down menu.

3.       Type in the name of the course in the “Name or Nbr” box and click Search. Click on the course to select it.  Click “OK” to add the course.

                                                    OR

In the drop down menu for “Sbj Area” select the subject area that you would like to view classes for.  Click on the course to select it.  Click “OK” to add the course.

4.       Course requests will appear in the “Current Requests” column on the left side of the page.
